A space to speak freely

and simply be heard.

Sometimes you do not need advice, solutions, or someone telling you what to do. You may just need a calm, confidential space to let things out with someone who will listen with care and without judgment.

This session is for you if your thoughts feel heavy, you have been holding things in, or you simply want to talk without being interrupted, corrected, analysed, or rushed.

What We Will Do

During our time together, you are welcome to share whatever feels present for you in your own words and at your own pace.

I will:

  • Listen with full attention, empathy, and respect

  • Give you space to speak without interruption or judgment

  • Be present with your thoughts, feelings, and experiences

  • Reflect back what I hear when helpful, so you feel understood

  • Ask only gentle, clarifying questions if you would like them

  • Respect your privacy and keep our conversation confidential

There is no need to prepare, explain everything perfectly, or arrive with a specific goal. You can simply come as you are.

What We Will Not Do

Empathic Listening is intentionally not coaching, therapy, counselling, or advice-giving.

During this session, I will not:

  • Tell you what you should do

  • Try to fix, solve, or analyse your situation

  • Give professional, medical, legal, financial, or relationship advice

  • Judge, criticise, minimise, or compare your experiences

  • Diagnose mental-health conditions or process trauma as a therapist would

  • Offer crisis or emergency support

If you would like guidance, deeper reflection, goals, or practical next steps, Coaching may be a better fit. If you need mental-health, trauma, or crisis support, please seek help from a qualified mental-health professional or local emergency service.
